Forbidden Power wins Best Original Screenplay in Florence, Italy

The winner’s statuette represents the David by Michelangelo. The original is in Florence, The Cradle of the Renaissance.

Paul Kyriazi wrote the novel and is the writer / director of the movie.

The movie competed with 28 countries, hundreds of entries and 90 finalists.

The First Movie about Sexually Transmitted Power

Movies like Lucy, Limitless and The Wolfman have transmitted power to their victims via drugs or animal bite. Now comes a new take on that idea: Sexually transmitted power in the award winning feature film; Forbidden Power.

The story concerns a young man who has a one-night affair with a mysterious woman.When he wakes up in the morning, she’s gone, but leaves him empowered and a cryptic message: Short Red Train.The man searches for her and the meaning of the message.

Forbidden Power is the 7th feature film from director Paul Kyriazi. He is a graduate of the San Francisco State University film department. He’s directed 23 name actors, such as Rod Taylor, Robert Culp, George Chakiris and David Hedison in his movies and full-cast audio-books based on his novels.

The movie is Executive Produced by Conrad Denke of Victory Studios and Harry Mok who also produced the upcoming Animal Crackers with the voices of Sylvester Stallone and Danny DeVito.

Forbidden Power was shot with a 6K Red Epic camera which was used on Jurasic WorldGone Girl and Deadpool.
